
Josephine Buckner
Biography
Josephine practices in the field of personal injury and premises liability including motor vehicle collisions, trucking accidents, slip and falls, and wrongful deaths. She has years of experience as a trial and appellate lawyer. Before becoming a personal injury attorney, Josephine served as a prosecutor and as a defense attorney for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. She focused on the collective quality of life in our great state and provided zealous representation for individual clients.
Josephine received her B.A. in English Literature from the University of Louisville and her Juris Doctorate from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law, Northern Kentucky University. Her court admissions include the Commonwealth of Kentucky, the State Bar of Georgia and attorney and counselor of the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky. Her affiliations include the Louisville Bar Association, the Kentucky Justice Association and Louis D. Brandeis Inns of Court. She takes great pride in serving her community. A native Kentuckian, Josephine hails from Pikeville. She and her husband Ravi have made Louisville their home and attend St. Stephen Church.
