Austin Pollard is an associate attorney with Aguiar Injury Lawyers, specializing in personal injury law. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Austin’s early years were spent in the South End of Louisville before moving to Bowling Green, Kentucky, where he graduated from high school in 2017. After high school, Austin attended the University of Louisville, where he pursued a bachelor’s degree in history. From the beginning of his undergraduate education, Austin was determined to become a lawyer, driven by a deep desire to advocate for those in need.
During his time at the University of Louisville, Austin worked at a family-owned sporting goods store in the South End of Louisville, where he developed strong ties to the community. His family roots run deep in the Shively area, and this experience reinforced his passion for helping others. Austin graduated from UofL with honors in 2021, reflecting his academic dedication and determination to succeed.
After completing his undergraduate studies, Austin attended the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. It was during law school that tragedy struck, profoundly influencing both his personal and professional life. The loss of his stepmother in a vehicle-pedestrian collision became a pivotal moment in Austin’s journey. This heart-wrenching experience sparked a deep commitment to becoming a plaintiff’s trial lawyer, and he knew this was the field where he could make the most meaningful impact. Having personally experienced the devastating effects of a tragic accident, Austin can empathize with clients and offer a level of understanding that is rare in the legal field.
During law school, Austin joined Sam Aguiar Injury Lawyers as a law clerk in 2023, working closely with our seasoned attorneys to handle a wide range of personal injury cases, including commercial vehicle accidents, semi-truck accidents, wrongful death claims, premises liability, and car wrecks. His hands-on experience during law school provided him with valuable insight and the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the Plaintiff’s Bar.
Austin graduated from the Brandeis School of Law in 2024 with honors. He earned a CALI Award in Workers’ Compensation Law and a place on the Dean’s List for the Fall semester of 2023. After passing the Kentucky Bar, he became an associate attorney at Sam Aguiar Injury Lawyers, where he continues to advocate passionately for those who have been injured due to negligence of others.
Austin’s personal experiences, both in his professional life and through his own family history, fuel his passion for plaintiff’s personal injury law. His clients benefit from not only his legal expertise but also his deep empathy and understanding of the pain and challenges that follow serious accidents. Austin’s mission is to ensure that his clients receive the justice and compensation they deserve.
When he’s not working on behalf of clients, Austin enjoys spending time with his fiancée, Shannon, their daughter, Iris, and their dog, Tater. A dedicated sports fan, Austin is an avid supporter of the University of Louisville Cardinals and enjoys watching sports, particularly basketball and football. In his free time, he also enjoys playing chess, appreciating the strategic thinking and mental challenge it offers.
