Austin Pollard

Bio

Austin Pollard is an attorney at Sam Aguiar Injury Lawyers, where he represents people hurt in car crashes, slip-and-fall incidents, and other premises liability cases.

He was born in Louisville and spent his early years in the city’s South End before his family moved to Bowling Green, where he graduated from high school in 2017. His family has deep roots in Shively. While at the University of Louisville, he worked at a family-owned sporting goods store in the South End, and he graduated from UofL with honors in 2021.

During law school at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, Austin lost his stepmother when a vehicle struck her as she walked. That loss is why he became a plaintiff’s trial lawyer.

He joined the firm as a law clerk in 2023 and worked with its attorneys on commercial vehicle, semi-truck, wrongful death, premises liability, and car crash cases. He graduated from Brandeis with honors in 2024, with a CALI Award in Workers’ Compensation Law and a place on the Dean’s List for fall 2023. After passing the Kentucky bar, he joined the firm as an attorney.

Austin and his wife, Shannon, have a daughter, Iris, and a dog, Tater. He is a University of Louisville Cardinals fan, mostly for basketball and football, and he plays chess in his free time.
