Where Our Giving Lands
The map of where our giving lands reflects something simple: when Kentucky communities need help, we try to show up. Sometimes that means helping five miles from our office. Sometimes it means loading trucks and driving across the state. The common thread is people.
Our Roots Run Through Kentucky
Sam grew up in Western Kentucky. Jon Hollan, who leads our Lexington office, is from the mountains of Eastern Kentucky. Sara Collins was raised in Pike County and still has deep family ties throughout the region. Those connections give us relationships, perspective, and a direct understanding of what many Kentucky families face. But they do not determine where we give.
When devastating tornadoes struck Western Kentucky, we showed up. When historic flooding hit Eastern Kentucky, we showed up. When schools, youth programs, first responders, shelters, churches, and community organizations need support in Louisville, Lexington, or anywhere else in the Commonwealth, we look for ways to help there too.
Many of the organizations we support are in the communities where our employees live, work, raise families, coach teams, attend church, and send their children to school. Others are hundreds of miles away. The distance has never been the deciding factor.
Kentucky has given a great deal to us. We believe in giving back wherever that support can make a meaningful difference.
Some years that means disaster relief. Some years it means helping a local school, sponsoring a youth program, supporting a family in crisis, funding a community event, or providing resources to organizations doing important work on the ground. The needs change. The commitment does not.
The map changes from year to year. The mission stays the same: when Kentucky needs us, we do our best to answer the call.
