Sam Cares has contributed more than $6 million to Kentucky communities since Sam Aguiar Injury Lawyers opened in 2010.
Giving covers relief drives, family events, food and holiday programs, school sponsorships, and law school tuition.
Each program below names the organizations that received the money and the year it was given.
Disaster Relief
Eastern Kentucky Flood Relief
In February 2025, the firm delivered more than 7,000 pounds of supplies to Pikeville and donated $5,000 to the Eastern Kentucky Dream Center. The flood relief record includes the delivery details.
Western Kentucky Tornadoes
In 2024, the firm filled a Penske truck with more than $75,000 worth of much-needed items for families hit by the Western Kentucky tornadoes.
Family Experiences
Taylor Swift Concert Giveaway
The firm gave away 10 tickets to Swifties, including a surprise trip for Lola Rosenbaum’s family. The giveways also included spending money and merchandise. More is on the events and giveaways page and the WDRB story on that giveaway.
WWE SmackDown
The firm has given away more than 150 tickets, with cash and merchandise, to local WWE fans.
Louisville Basketball
Sam gave away 2,500 tickets for fans to see Louisville men’s basketball play Virginia, and then followed that up by giving away 1,000 tickets for fans to see Louisville women play Duke.
Food And Holiday Drives
Chrysalis House Christmas
On December 20, 2024, employees bought, wrapped, and delivered gifts for 60 children connected to Chrysalis House.
Dare To Care Meals
In May 2026, employees packed more than 700 meals at the Dare to Care Community Kitchen and the firm donated $2,000.
Thanksgiving Meals
The 2024 community giving recap reports more than 1,500 turkeys and meal baskets distributed with local partners.
School Sponsorships
Currently, the firm sponsored more than 60 school sports teams and academic organizations across Kentucky. See more here.

Brandeis Law Scholarships
A $150,000 gift funds tuition for two first-generation law students over three years at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law.
Bellarmine Partnership
A $10,000 partnership supports Bellarmine Women’s Basketball during the 2026 and 2027 seasons.
