Bio

Jonathan Hollan is Managing Partner of the firm’s Lexington office and a trial lawyer who has spent his career representing people in Kentucky and beyond who were injured by someone else’s wrongful acts. He has handled personal injury cases exclusively from the start of his career, with a primary focus on complex litigation against large commercial entities.

Jon has a proven record at trial. His Kentucky career has taken him to courtrooms from Pikeville to Paducah, and he has tried numerous injury cases to verdict across the Commonwealth. In 2019 he became one of the youngest attorneys in Kentucky to secure a seven-figure jury verdict.

Over the last several years, Jon has become one of the country’s top legal authorities on cases involving CSP and DSP delivery models, including Amazon delivery vehicle crashes and FedEx Ground contractor accidents. Lawyers across the country seek out his experience on trucking matters.

His work identifying the root causes of tractor-trailer crashes has produced some of the largest known pre-trial trucking settlements in the region. He is recognized on the National Trial Lawyers Top 10 Trucking Lawyers list, the Trucking Trial Lawyers Association Top 10 and the National Trial Lawyers Top 100, and he was selected to Super Lawyers in 2026 and 2027.

Jon is a regular contributor on WKYT’s Everyday Kentucky, where his Truck Talk segments break down trucking safety for Kentucky drivers and families. Episodes cover hours-of-service regulations, black box evidence, Amazon delivery driver liability and how truck accident lawsuits work.

Jon studies trials nationwide to stay current, and he treats every complex case as a chance to sharpen his craft. He uses technology and creativity to tell each client’s story clearly and completely.

He speaks regularly at national legal conventions, including the National Trial Lawyers Annual Convention in 2025, the NTL Big Truck & Auto Convention in 2024 and the Kentucky Justice Association’s annual seminars.

He earned his J.D. from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law in 2013 and his B.A. from Georgetown College in 2009. He is admitted in Kentucky, the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, and the Sixth Circuit.

Jon enjoys reading, golf and traveling with his wife and their two sons. No place means more to him than the mountains of his hometown in Eastern Kentucky, and that connection drives his commitment to the people of the Commonwealth.
