John Moremen

Bio

John Moremen is an attorney at Sam Aguiar Injury Lawyers, where he represents people injured in car accidents, slip-and-fall accidents, and trucking accidents. John grew up in Louisville but has lived in several Kentucky cities and practiced law all over Kentucky.

John received his bachelor’s degree from Centre College, where he played lacrosse. After undergrad he moved to Southern Germany to work for the Department of Defense. Upon his return to the United States, John worked as an analyst for one of the largest law firms in the world while preparing for law school.

John earned his J.D. cum laude from Northern Kentucky University’s Salmon P. Chase College of Law. At NKU, he competed as a member of the Trial Team and the Moot Court Board. John’s team finished third in a national trial competition, and for his part in the competition he was asked to join the Order of Barristers, a national society of trial advocates.

After law school, John worked at a Lexington-based insurance defense firm, handling complex litigation, car accidents, and slip-and-fall accidents. That experience showed him how insurance companies operate and how they assign value to injury claims. John now represents injured people when insurance carriers refuse to pay what their injuries are worth.

John lives in Louisville with his fiancé and their numerous house plants. He also plans to coach a local youth lacrosse team with several of his former teammates. When he is not practicing law, John enjoys cooking with his fiancé, spending time with friends, playing golf, and exercising.
