Sara Collins

Meet Sara

Sara Collins is from Pikeville and has more than 20 years of experience. She joined the firm in 2021. Her work is complex litigation, wrongful death, and civil rights cases.

She graduated cum laude from Georgetown College and earned her law degree at the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2004. She started as a felony prosecutor at the Jefferson County Commonwealth Attorney’s Office, moved to complex civil work in 2012, first on defense and then for injured people, and also handles appeals.

She is admitted in Kentucky, the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, the Southern District of Indiana, and the Sixth and Seventh Circuits. She writes and speaks on domestic violence, sexual abuse, and civil rights.
