Saving Christmas for Sixty Children

Attorneys Jon Hollan and Sam Aguiar Rally Employees Together to Help Children at Christmas

In the days leading up to Christmas 2024, local attorneys Sam Aguiar and Jon Hollan of Sam Aguiar Injury Lawyers received an urgent call: a significant oversight threatened to leave the children of Chrysalis House in Lexington, Kentucky, without Christmas gifts.

For years, these children had been recipients of an angel tree program. However, in 2024, the liaison responsible for coordinating donations had left their position, which went unnoticed until December 20th. Upon arriving to collect the gifts, Chrysalis House administrators were met with empty hands, with the gift distribution scheduled for the very next morning.

Springing into Action

Upon learning of this situation at 2:30 PM on December 20th, Aguiar and Hollan sprang into action. Mobilizing their teams from both the Louisville and Lexington offices, they organized a massive last-minute shopping effort. Within hours, employees had purchased gifts for all 60 children, wrapping and delivering them that same evening.

The following morning, the children joyfully unwrapped their presents, their smiles a testament to the remarkable effort of the Sam Aguiar Injury Lawyers team.
