About Trent
While an undergraduate, Trent competed as a member of Bellarmine\’s nationally recognized mock trial program, where he developed a passion for litigation and trial advocacy. Pursuing this passion, Trent went on to law school at the University of Louisville\’s Brandeis School of Law, where he earned the highest grade in his class for Trial Practice.
Before joining Sam Aguiar Injury Lawyers, Trent worked for two reputable defense firms. His practice focused on complex civil litigation, including automotive products liability, common carrier defense, asbestos litigation, municipal liability, and medical malpractice. After years of representing large corporations and insurance companies, Trent enthusiastically embraced the opportunity to advocate for the injured.
Background
Trent earned his undergraduate degree from Bellarmine University, where he was a standout member of the school’s nationally recognized mock trial program. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, where he received the highest grade in his class for Trial Practice.
His time in mock trial and law school gave Trent a strong foundation in courtroom advocacy and litigation strategy that he brings to every case he handles today.

Personal
Having returned to live in the town where he grew up, Trent appreciates the importance of community involvement and takes pride in serving Oldham County in any way he can. He serves on the Board of Directors for Wednesday’s Child, a non-profit that helps connect abused and neglected children to a forever family.
In his free time, Trent is an avid golfer. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, and being outdoors, including walks with his wife, two daughters, and their dogs — Jack, Emmy, and Bogey. Trent loves basketball and proudly supports his Bellarmine Knights and the Indiana Pacers.
