Sam Aguiar is one of 11 first-generation attorneys at the firm. Eight of them graduated from Brandeis Law. “We are fortunate to be in a position to do this,” said Sam Aguiar. “All of our attorneys are first-generation professionals, and eight of us are Brandeis Law graduates who are here because the school took a chance on us. This scholarship is our team’s way of creating that same opportunity for others. We look forward to meeting the recipients and know they will be set up to succeed at the University of Louisville.”
